Well well well, the young guns picked their moment, local track, bit of sideline support ,and the Tearoha team of Sam &Josh Mathews,Nick and Ryan Thompson, and Brad curtain all just drove the wheels of their karts last night. Heat one 100 laps , P2 finish heat 2 100 laps, off the back, P2 finish Overall, and i quote the Macgors forum....", congratulations to TeAroha Kart Club for a stand out drive taking the night out on a great driving display. " Cant really say anything else- Te Aroha first place medals, beating some of speedways hottest young and old drivers.............Yeee Haaaa, and it was no picnic out there-these buggers are serious racers with all the dirty tricks. As for DKNZ, well...................lets just say our machine was parked up and we spectated much of our heats............

Awesome effort by the TADKC boys and what better advertising for the club than winning something like that in such a competitive group of drivers.

no excuses..but i do like the tone of the write up on macgors about DKNZ forgettable adventure into hamitlon. I quote..... Well done teams, but a special mention to the Team Dirt Kart boys. They had 2 REALLY bad karts on both races. So much so, the first race, they were "kartless" for 31 laps despite the best efforts of the pit mechanics. Now, that would be enough for some teams to moan, groan and do who knows what. Dave was just disappointed and rejected any type of 'adjustment' or welfare type points or calculation. That is above and beyond in my book, that is what the spirit of the competition is all about. This is not saying the Full Throttle karts are bad, rather they were a very satisfactory vehicle, just TDK had a bad lottery. Thanks Dave, Im sure some other individuals would have burnt my ear and made ass's of themselves expecting me to have a magic wand. Much appreciated. Mike (616) Perkins, you were a true asset to have and Im glad Fiddy1nz came along for a look. We were 1 down mate and you would have had a drive, but we coaxed one of the track guys to have a skid. Brilliant !! Hooncorp. Round 3 results, points to follow tonight.
1st Te Aroha Kart club 2nd Smashfest 3rd Outa Vegas 4th= Hooncorp 1 4th= Josh Jack Racing 6th= Hooncorp Jellybean Team 6th= Team Mitchell 8th Huntly replacements 9th Petrolfumes 10th Team Dirt Kart
