Hi just wanting to know what is the best kart for the dirt, i have been speaking with someone and he said that the AX8/9 is a stiffer chassis and the AX6 is a softer chassis. will a softer chassis twist better on the dirt or are you better with a stiffer chassis. what other chassis are people using and are you better with newer or older.I am looking at racing KT100 class if this makes any difference.With only 2 weeks to go i need as much help as possible.thanks stu. | |

Welcome aboard Stu, this is one of those issues everyone seems to differ on. I personally think it depends on your driving style we have 15 year old karts beating 1 year old karts and visa versa so it is very differcult to pick one over the other, the dirt is one good leveller. ax8 - ax9 doesnt really matter, what you want is a 28mm chassis for yamaha. If you can find an old Omega TP13 chassis grab it!! All comes down to finding a set up that works for you and your kart tho, if you need any help with set up holla out we are all here to help. | |
