Hi just wanting to know what is the best kart for the dirt, i have been speaking with someone and he said that the AX8/9 is a stiffer chassis and the AX6 is a softer chassis. will a softer chassis twist better on the dirt or are you better with a stiffer chassis. what other chassis are people using and are you better with newer or older.I am looking at racing KT100 class if this makes any difference. With only 2 weeks to go i need as much help as possible.thanks stu.

Welcome aboard Stu, this is one of those issues everyone seems to differ on. I personally think it depends on your driving style  we have 15 year old karts beating 1 year old karts and visa versa  so it is very differcult to pick one over the other, the dirt is one good leveller.  So guess you'll find out race day.  Good luck mate and see you there.

ax8 - ax9 doesnt really matter, what you want is a 28mm chassis for yamaha. If you can find an old Omega TP13 chassis grab it!! All comes down to finding a set up that works for you and your kart tho, if you need any help with set up holla out we are all here to help.
